Founded on a single conviction.
In 1987, six lawyers left larger institutions to build a different kind of firm — one where partners stay personally accountable for every matter, where growth never outpaces standards, and where discretion is treated as a professional discipline rather than a marketing word.
That conviction has carried Blackstone from a single Mayfair townhouse to seven offices across three continents. What has not changed is the shape of the firm: deliberately compact, unusually senior, and structured as one partnership worldwide.
We measure ourselves in client generations, not quarters. Several of the families and institutions we advised in our first decade remain clients today.
